If kinect is a requirement, and the person doesn’t want to use kinect (regardless of their reasons), that person simply won’t buy the developer’s game. Mandatory kinect features will be abandoned in favor of optional kinect features because no developer wants to artificially limit the market for their game. The assumption that their game is so great people will want to ignore their own opinions and plug in the device they don’t want would be nothing more than hubris.
